NO!!!! We eat at Bonanza at least once a week and love it. They are always so busy, and I feel like that proves that type of dining is still popular!

My children and I have had so many pleasant meals there. I have been eating there since 1974. I eat there nearly every time I am in Tupelo.

I hate that! Bonanza in Tupelo was my very first job. I have so many good memories from being there. I live in Alabama now, but a few weeks ago I made a trip to Tupelo and had to take my boys there to eat. This is so sad!

So sad, but a wonderful opportunity for you, Mr. Mason. If you don’t open another Bonanza, consider opening a Golden Corral. That would be awesome!!!!

You are the only one left that has a steak meal and food bar. We have enough darn Dollar General’s. They are nasty and unorganized now. What are you thinking? So sad.😞

If Dollar General is so expansive, why can it not compensate it’s employees for the hard work and dedication they put into the stores to make them so successful?

I will truly miss Bonanza. No more cabbage and corn muffins, pinto beans, drummettes, corn, banana pudding, ice cream, salad bar!!! Who needs another dollar store? It will cause more crime to come to that area! It’s already plagued with the sleazy motel! Just another temptation for thieves. They will break in and get nothing except arrested. Makes me think that the dollar stores are owned by the same people who run satellite prisons!

Well as a former employee of 10 years from 1999to 2009 of the Bonanza in sulphur Louisiana. I have many great memories, many great friends I consider family still to this day but John Mason didn’t give us any warning!! I went to work one day after recently finding out I was pregnant and they handed me a check and said we’re closed! 🤔 They said I could stay and help clean out, that they would pay me cash. Not a word, not a Warning or anything! Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the years I worked for Philip Crater which is my all-time favorite boss but let’s not act like John Mason is some Heroic icon!!! 💋❤️Sending love to all my old coworkers miss you all

The best steaks in Tupelo. I really do hate this. What’s up with all of these Dollar Genral stores popping up everywhere. There’s just to many of um here in North Mississippi. There should be NOBODY without jobs, with all those stores!! Don’t go😢
