Even though it’s been at least seven restaurants in the past decade, most famously as Gloster 205 and Fusion 205, the building near Crosstown is getting another tenant.
And, of course, it’s going to be home to another restaurant at the address, 205 N. Gloster St. Most recently, it was Sax & Jazz Seafood Oyster Place.
The new restaurant will be called Faces, and according to the banner on the property, it’s the “epitome of fine dining and live music.”
We don’t have all the details, but in the evenings, Faces will become much like a supper club. It won’t be a lounge or nightclub, according to the owner.
Lunch will be served during weekdays before switching over later in the evening.
On the dinner menu will be steaks and seafood and a bison burger, among othero offerinw. And there will be an oyster bar as well as a sushi bar.
We’re supposed to be getting more details next week as they’re getting finalized.
But we’ll leave you with this info as well: The building’s exterior is getting bricked, and the interior is being restored to some of its natural state when it was Gloster 205. Some of the walls are being removed as are the decorative ceiling tiles.
Faces should open around Christmas.
