Holland’s Country Buffet is expected to open on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
New tables, booths and chairs have been put in place, and the restaurant will have four buffet tables – one for salads, one for desserts, one for meats/entrees and one for vegetables
Owner Haiwei Zhou said there will be some 20 vegetables and 4-5 meats as well as peel-and-eat shrimp on the Southern-style buffet daily. The menu will rotate weekly.
BTW, the restaurant is located in the The Shops at Barnes Crossing behind Logan’s, and is in what had been Margarita’s Mexican Grill.
Margarita’s closed last year in the shopping plaza that’s also home to Bed Bath & Beyond, David’s Bridal, Leslie’s Pool Supplies and Dollar Tree.
Holland’s will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
It will be strictly a buffet restaurant, and steak and catfish will be offered nightly. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant will have a seafood buffet that includes crab legs.
What are the prices? Here they are:
- Monday-Friday lunch – $8.99
- Saturday lunch – $9.99
- Sunday lunch – $8.99
- Sunday-Wednesday dinner with catfish and steak – $15.99
- Thursday-Saturday seafood dinner – $22.99
