Construction moves along at the HomeGoods store at The Mall at Barnes Crossing. It is scheduled to open in the fall.
HomeGoods is just about ready to begin hiring for its Tupelo store, which is scheduled to open this fall.
The store is conducting interviews starting next week to fill full-time and part-time positions, including merchandise associates, merchandise coordinators and loss prevention
Interviews will be held at the Courtyard Marriott on North Gloster Street. The dates are:
- July 5-8 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- July 10-15 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- July 17-22 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
HomeGoods, which sells furniture, lamps, rugs and home decor, is located in the space adjacent to Dick’s Sporting Goods. The 24,000-square-foot-store is part of TJX Companies, which includes sister stores T.J. Maxx and Marshall’s.
The Tupelo store will be its third in Mississippi, joining locations in Madison and Flowood.
HomeGoods has 579 stores in 45 states and had sales in fiscal 2017 of $4.41 billion.
