PYRO’S Fire Fresh Pizza is expected to open next Friday, June 23.
The 3,500-square-foot location is in the Tupelo Crossroads development at the corner of North Gloster Street and Barnes Crossing Road, right next to Which Wich Superior Sandwiches, which opened last month in the development.
Construction is all but complete on the exterior, with finishing touches being done inside.
The oven is in place, and furnishings, counters and other equipment are being installed as we speak.
Speaking of the oven, the thin-crust pizzas are cooked on an open flame ceramic deck at more than 800 degrees, allowing servers to get the pizzas to the tables in about five minutes.
The restaurant will seat about 100 inside, which includes a small party room that’s available for free.
The Tupelo location also has an outdoor patio space, and one feature is a drink service station that will serve craft beer, specialty coffee, tea and other options.
Along with pizzas and salads, Pyro’s also will have a variety of snacks and desserts.
The Tupelo store will be the Memphis-based company’s eighth location when it opens.
Hours of the store will be 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
