Buoy’s Restaurant is opening next Thursday, June 1, in Saltillo.
The steak, seafood and fish restaurant, located on Highway 45 next to Saltillo Small Animal Hospital, will be open on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Co-owner Lisa Richardson said Buoy’s will have a seafood and fish buffet Thursday to Saturday, and a country buffet on Sunday. Diners can also order off the menu, where they’ll find the steaks and other options.
“It’s going to be similar to Seafood Junction (in Algoma),” Richardson said, “but it’s going to be a little different.”
While the buffet will have items like fried catfish, shrimp, oysters and frog legs, along with a variety of sides, the menu also will have grilled items, she said. Crab legs will be available, but only off the menu, and not on the buffet.
The Sunday buffet will have no seafood, just regular country fixings as the name suggests.
The restaurant will seat about 200 people.
