Wingstop in Tupelo closed for repair, to reopen in three weeks

A little more than six weeks after opening, Wingstop in Tupelo has closed temporarily. Wingstop closed

A sign on the door says, “it is with our most sincere apologies that we inform you that we will be closing in order to repair some aspects of our building that arose since our opening. We appreciate your patronage and look forward to serving our Tupelo community again very soon.

The restaurant, located at the corner of Thomas and West Main Streets, opened June 11.

Tanner Berryhill, one of the co-owners of the restaurant, said it will reopen in a about three weeks.

He declined to get into specifics of what happened, but said “we were forced to close temporarily to fix some issues our contractor neglected to address before we opened that came to light last week.”
