The Tupelo Farmers’ Market is opening May 17, and a fundraiser will be held a day earlier.
The Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association is hosting the opening weekend of the market, kicking it off on Friday, May 16 with the third annual Feast for the Farmers’ Dinner.
Dinner will be served under the market shed on South Spring Street, with food and beverages donated by Bar-B-Que by Jim; Café 212; Coca-Cola; Fairpark Grill; Kermit’s Outlaw Kitchen; La Vino; Mitchell Distributing; Native Son; Neon Pig; Papa V’s; Park Heights; Romie’s; Rosie’s Cookies, Cakes & Cream; South; St. Bethany Fresh and Stables Downtown Grill.
Tickets are $30 each or $50 for a couple, and can be purchased through the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association at 108 South Broadway Street or (662)841-6598.
Opening day of the market on Saturday, May 17 will feature the Garden Mama radio show, presentations by the Master Gardeners, musical entertainment, chef demonstrations, children’s activities and farm fresh vegetables.
The Farmers’ Market is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday beginning at 6 am – Noon or sell out.
