Sister Hazel and Joe Nichols are the headliner acts for the 16th Tupelo Elvis Festival June 5-8, the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association announced late Friday.
• At the Fairpark stage on the night of Friday, June 6 will be Sister Hazel. They’re an alternative rock band from Gainesville, Fla.,that “blends elements of folk rock, pop, classic rock ‘n’ roll and southern rock,” according to Wikipedia. Here’s their hit from 20 years ago, “All For You.” if you want a sample of their music.
• On Saturday, June 7, the opening acts are Brandon Bennett and Dustin Lynch. The headliner is country music artist Joe Nichols.
The Fairpark stage will kick each night off with an Elvis Tribute Artist.
Tickets will be available starting Wednesday, April 16 via www.tupeloelvisfestival.com and the Tupelo Elvis Festival office at 108 S. Broadway St. in Downtown Tupelo.
