Tupelo’s second food truck – Two Dudes Mexican Foods

Another food truck is about to hit the streets in Tupelo: Two Dudes Mexican Foods will make its debut at Saturday’s Tupelo Craft Beer Festival. Two Dudes will be the second food truck in Tupelo, following Local Mobile’s debut last summer. Two Dudes Mexican

Two Dudes Mexican Foods is run by Eric Dufford and his son, Dane. Eric Dufford retired from Cooper Tire in January and decided to get in the food truck business.

He said he developed his recipes from his Mexican ex-wife and her parents, who owned a restaurant, the Cactus Cafe, in downtown Baldwyn a few years ago.

Initially, Two Dudes Mexican Foods will start out with tamales, but the menu will grow as the Duffords get everything together.

Eric Dufford said his food inspection is scheduled for later this week, plus he’s going through the necessary permitting/licensing processes that come with the territory.

We’ll have more on Two Dudes Mexican Foods later in the week, but you can follow them on Facebook.
