The second annual Tupelo Craft Beer Festival is Saturday, and it will include six Mississippi craft breweries. They are among the 30 companies participating in the event that will be held from noon to 5 p.m. in Fairpark.
“Last year we had only three from Mississippi, but this year we’ll have six – Southern Prohibition Brewing, Crooked Letter Brewing, Lazy Magnolia, Lucky Town, Yalobusha Brewing and Oxford Brewing,” said festival organizer Matt Leff.
Other breweries include Abita, Back Forty Beer, Bayou Teche, Blue Pants, Covington, Crown Valley, Fort Collins, Ghost River, Merchant du Vin, New Belgium, Samuel Adams, Sea Dog, Schafley, Sierra Nevada, Straight to Ale, Tallgrass, Woodchuck Hard Cider and Yazoo Brewing.
Tickets for the festival are $40 and can be purchased at Blue Canoe, Papa V’s, Neon Pig, Todd’s Big Star and the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association office. Tickets for a beer dinner Friday are available at Kermit’s Outlaw Kitchen for $95.
Leff said advance ticket sales have reached 700, ahead of last year’s pace.
