AT&T still working on 4G LTE upgrades in Tupelo

att-logo AT&T has been touting its recent flipping the switch on its 4G LTE network  in the area,   including south Oxford, New Albany and Corinth, as well as Biloxi and Gulfport on the Gulf Coast in recent weeks. Butt what about Tupelo?

We contacted a spokeswoman for AT&T, who said she couldn’t provide a time frame for when Tupelo will be enjoying 4G LTE, but she said “we are working on the upgrades.”

The company  in April provided a list of cities that would get 4G LTE by the end of summer, and in Mississippi, it included Greenwood/Cleveland, Meridian/Philadelphia.

BTW, Verizon opened its 4G LTE network in Tupelo two years ago.

So, there ya go. Wish we had better news for you.

Yea, I’m working on a space program in my garage.

LTE is live in Amory, Booneville, New Albany, and West Point. How did AT&T manage to turn on those cities and miss Tupelo? They really dropped the ball on this one. I’m tired of the 4G speeds they claim Tupelo has. It’s not LTE, and most of the time it’s even slower than 3G.

My mother and sister tell me that LTE is showing up on thier LTE enabled iPads.
I guess it’s here. Never understand the mystery in why it took so long.
