AT&T has been touting its recent flipping the switch on its 4G LTE network in the area, including south Oxford, New Albany and Corinth, as well as Biloxi and Gulfport on the Gulf Coast in recent weeks. Butt what about Tupelo?
We contacted a spokeswoman for AT&T, who said she couldn’t provide a time frame for when Tupelo will be enjoying 4G LTE, but she said “we are working on the upgrades.”
The company in April provided a list of cities that would get 4G LTE by the end of summer, and in Mississippi, it included Greenwood/Cleveland, Meridian/Philadelphia.
BTW, Verizon opened its 4G LTE network in Tupelo two years ago.
So, there ya go. Wish we had better news for you.
