Gas prices in the region held steady this week.
Last Friday, our survey of gas stations showed Corinth had the lowest gas prices at $3.17. Today, Corinth and Fulton are tied for the lowest price at $3.16.
The highest price this week is a tie between Amory and Tupelo at $3.34. The state average is actually down one cent to $3.26. This time last year, it was $3.35.
The national average is now $3.67, just one cent below prices this time last year.

Reminder: This survey is designed to find the cheapest gas. The cities with the “most expensive” title are the ones that came in at the bottom of our cheapest gas list. There are other stations with more expensive gas, but we aren’t hunting for that. We’re looking for the station where you are going to spend the most money when you want to find cheap gas.
