Sun-Kai to close this year

Sad to hear this news from Tupelo’s oldest Chinese restaurant, Sun-Kai. The owners confirmed the news again today.

Via the restaurant’s facebook page:

If you have been hearing rumors that Sun-Kai is closing it is true. Our last day will be December 22.

It has been a great run and we appreciate everyone over the years that has support us, but it’s time for us.

So make sure you come get some of your favorite Chinese food before its to late!

In response to questions about the closure, Sun-Kai (it looks like it is manned by Kimberly To) said:

I am wanting to move it was my idea to close it down and do something for me. I want to move to Nashville and work in hotels and I actually have some offers.
