Monday (Oct. 15) is the deadline to apply for marketing grants from the CVB (previous coverage) and to participate in the CVB’s free leadership program.

TUPELO CVB ANNOUNCES TUPELO LEADERSHIP PROGRAM SPEAKERS
TUPELO, Miss. – The Tupelo Convention and Visitors Bureau (Tupelo CVB) will launch its second annual Tourism Leadership Program in December, 2012.
The program is a 6-month initiative to grow participant’s awareness of the tourism industry and is open to people working in Tupelo’s hospitality industry. Each day is scheduled from 9am – 3pm.
Applications are being accepted by the Tupelo CVB now through October 15, 2012.
Applicants will be notified on November 12th if they have been accepted to participate in the program. The program is free.
“We are pleased to announce such an outstanding line-up of presenters for this year’s tourism leadership program,” stated Neal McCoy, executive director of the Tupelo CVB. “It’s important to engage our industry partners and this group of educators will give them immense insight into our industry.”
