Old Venice Pizza Company, Tupelo’s premier Italian eatery is now under new management and ownership. The restaurant, located on McCullough Boulevard is known for its updated and casual family dining as well as its lively bar.
The new owners, associated with Fusion Hospitality of Tupelo, have planned renovations to update the restaurant and add seating capacity.
Scheduled for completion before the end of year, expansion plans for Old Venice include an enclosed patio as well as an additional dining area that can be reserved for private parties. Renovation plans also include refreshing the interior and rejuvenating the bar to allow for additional and more comfortable seating. It is important to note that the restaurant will remain open during renovation as the work will be contained.
While the look of the restaurant may change slightly, patrons can expect the same great food and familiar faces. The owners are thrilled with the quality, hand-made food the restaurant prepares and look forward to working with the existing, energetic staff.
Old Venice will also offer off-site dining for the first time. Full-service catering will be available and the new owners expect to begin delivering to select local hotels before the end of the year.
